Family Engagement
We are aware that some of our young people find it difficult to tell you about their day at school. At Haymerle School we have an ICT application (app) that you can access from tablets and phones. The app is called the EFL (Evidence for Learning) Family App. Using the app lets you see photos of your child at school with staff comments to keep you up to date.
The app has additional features allowing you to comment on your child’s learning and even upload some of your own wow moments or activities the children have enjoyed at the weekend so these can then be shared with the class.
Parents, carers and family members are able to view evidence shared with them through Evidence for Learning Family App as well as share photos and videos from home with school. At Haymerle School we find this a very valuable tool to enable us to share our pupils’ successes both at home and at school.
