Welcome to Yellow Class!

Our team is made up of Funmi, the class teacher, and our wonderful support staff Jo, Nimat and Tina.

This year, we will be engaging in the following topics as part of the Haymerle School Creative curriculum:

Autumn: The Famous Five in History

We will be learning about our five historical figures (Neil Armstrong, Mary Seacole, Florence Nightingale, Guy Fawkes and Christopher Columbus). In Knowledge and Understanding, we will be engaging in celebrations and exploring Light and Dark.

Spring: Where the Wild things are

We will be learning about different animals and their habitats (Land, Sea, Air). The class will engage in many activities where we will explore our senses (smell, touch, taste, feel, hear).

Summer: Beside the Seaside

We will be learning about life at the seaside. We will make sandcastles, engage in water play and learn about what we need for a holiday at the sea.
